Fort Worth animal shelter issues plea for help | Fort Worth | News from Fort Worth, Dall...
FORT WORTH - For the first time in more than two years, city officials are facing the unpleasant prospect of having to euthanize healthy, adoptable animals. The record run is now in jeopardy because 560 animals were brought into the shelter over the last week, overwhelming the facility.
For the rest of the month the shelter is running half-price adoptions. Adoption prices for dogs/puppies will be $24.50 while cats/kittens the price will be $12.50.
If you live in DFW and have space for a furry friend, you should definitely take a look. You’re not only saving a potential friend for life, but some also some cash.
